Monique Lhuillier™ - Designer-to-the-Stars Dresses Barbie® Doll in Her Signature Bridal Style
This June, notable fashion designer Monique Lhuillier™ - famed for her classic silhouettes and contemporary touches - designs the Monique Lhuillier™ Bride Barbie® doll with a glamorous sense of style. This year, Barbie® doll’s name is added to the long list of stylish and noteworthy women who have worn Monique Lhuillier’s™ unique dresses either down the aisle or walking the red carpet.
The Monique Lhuillier™ Bride Barbie® doll wears a gown that captures the sophistication of today’s modern bride with an off-white lace bodice and a full tulle skirt. A sable-colored satin sash accents the waist with a rhinestone floral brooch; the ends of the sash are embroidered and decorated with faux pearls and tiny silvery sequins. Accouterments include “diamond” stud earrings and ring. Finally, the doll wears a lace undergarment and an off-white garter with blue ribbon embellishment.
The Monique Lhuillier™ Bride Barbie® doll’s gown is modeled after the designer’s popular “Swan Lake” design, which showcases her talent for creating elegant, graceful and supremely feminine gowns. The Swan Lake gown is available at Monique Lhuillier™ Salons, select Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus locations as well as specialty stores.

Beginning August 1, a Platinum Label™ version of the Monique Lhuillier™ Bride Barbie® doll will feature blonde hair, blue eyes and a gown with a blue sash available exclusively at FAO Schwarz for a suggested retail price of $140.
